DEFLATED ICON

Orson's graduation project - ‘a Deflated Icon - LC2.2’ - focusses on how we perceive iconic objects. Here he looked at the ‘in-between phase of an iconic object, and how this intermediate phase can develop a unique form language which will breathe new life into these existing recognisable objects.

There is a constant need for a new creation, however through re-interpreting existing objects we can manipulate people’s preconceived idea and value of objects through a new form language on recognisable objects.

This projects was shown at OBJECT Rotterdam 2020 in the Haka Building.
